I've(Lauren) been going without the tv since we moved to guatemala, and I've been deprived of fun social gatherings with my friends in my native tongue, so I've taken up something new: Painting! I tried first with this watercolor of my favorite flower, calla lillies, and it's not too bad.
My next attempt was with acryllics, and I knew not what to paint, so I started with the place James and I got married, the Dallas Texas Temple. 
Next thing I would like to paint are these roses that my thoughtful husband bought from some street vendor here. I just don't know if I should paint it from above or on the side. If anyone has an opinion, let me know!
If I paint the one standing up, I'll try to come up with something better than a prego jar for a vase...( :
